Sapphire and Steel was an excellent SF/Fantasy series in the late 70s. Low budget and interesting stories ususally involving problems caused by time. Here's the Wiki entry:

Yes, the 1918 episode was good - nice touch with the earlier Torchwood. Sad about the soldier's ultimate fate. Watched it again with BH, and she enjoyed it immensely. She wants to know when Martha will appear.

Strange as it may seem, given my earlier criticism of Martha (except for her lovely bottom), I'm really looking forward to her appearing in Torchwood. I'm also eagerly awaiting the return of Captain Spike...er...John.

Maybe Grace is somehow part of Captain Jack's make up, which would possibly explain his sexual proclivities.
