Yaaaayyyyyyyyy!!!
The presence of Catherine "bloody" Tate is compensated for by the fact that Bernard Cribbins is going to have a regular role!
Yay for the Cribbins!
It would have been nice if there'd been some connection made with his part in the Cushing movie, but not so. Minor boo! |

That would have been fab, had they done that.
BH's Dr Who mag seems to imply Martha only appears for a two parter .... more major boo. |

Sponsor | dragonhead | Mar 31, 3:03am | Boo indeed. But I did also read that Captain Jack and Sarah-Jane also make appearances as well as Jackie and Mickey the Idiot.
Which is a major yay.
So where does that leave us on the boo/yay scale? |

 Sponsor | ericthehamster | Mar 31, 3:06am | Possibly a net yay!
However, I am wary about the reappearance of Mickey, Jackie and Rose (for the mag has suggested that she also will reappear) - I'm a nerd, and like my SF universes to have internal consistency - how will they reappear without destroying the fabric of time and space? |

I'd say a big yay, having seen episode 1 now. |

Next week's looks good, too! |

The next episode looks much better. |

Sponsor | ericthehamster | Apr 7, 5:47am | Yes, it does - funnily enough, there was a programme on Discovery or Nat Geographic yesterday, about Pompeii and Herculanium - very timely!
I always look forward to the episodes written by Stephen Moffat.
Edit: Saturday's episode (the Pompeii one) - great story, but not warming to Donna, who (despite some good acting) still comes across as a character from the Catherine Tate show. She also seems to be affecting David Tennant's acting, and he was even more manic than usual, and it actually started annoying me. |
